Dark hearts

I looked at a blue flowy dress. It was beautiful.

"That's the cheapest dress I knew you'd like." I smiled at her choice.

"Is that too much?" I asked her. I grabbed the real long dress and tried it on.

I looked at the price off 800 dollars. "I guess not." I said compared to the other ones that were 2000 dollars.

"Alright then let me get it for you." I looked at my dress. "What do you think of this one?"

"I hope so. I really want to date him. I don't know what to do. I'm afraid he'll get too nervous to say something again." I looked at the price. I changed back into my clothes.

"I'm surprised. With his looks, he looks like he's dated every hot girl at school."

"That's his character and who he is. I didn't judge him as sweet a first. Until we got to talk. I really wish I could take back those mean things I said about him when we met."

"That he was a jerk. Things like that. I used to think he was the kind that any cheerleader would date. He probably didn't like me all that much at first either."

"Nothing. He didn't really look at me. Until we were forced to do something together. It was a cold look to me. I don't get many stares that I just don't want to be near someone."

"No, I never yelled. I kept my voice calm, he just kinda frightened me at first. Then our project made me realize he isn't that bad."

"Back then he did start the conversations. Now, he's too nervous to even say hi."

"No, I don't yell at anyone but my parents. I may have gone a tone up but never to where it was noticable."

I nodded.

My phone went off I saw that it was Sammy. "Hello?" I asked.

"Mal wants to talk to you." I said handing her the phone.
