Dark hearts

"They're supposed to. Mine are afraid of me."

I shook my head. "Then your better off without them."

"They aren't my birth parents."

"Really?" I asked

"Yeah, they told me that they found me at their doorsteps. Someone left me there explaining my need, what I was blah blah blah."

I nodded. "I have been left months on end." I said "Some times with nothing to eat."

"That never happened to me. Of course, I've never been in a grocery store."

"I'll bet. I hear the servants talk." I looked around and noticed it was quiet.

"It's oddly quiet. I wonder where they are." I stood up.

"maybe they are at the store." I said trying to make a joke.

"No, we still have a weeks supply."I walked into the kitchen.

I followed her. "Whats up?"

"Burning." I went upstairs. I looked in my room. Then the guest room.

"What?!"

I smelled vampire and it wasnt mark. "Get out of the house."

"Yes you are! There's a vapire and-" I looked at the end of the hall and there she stood,"-I cant defend us both."

I growled. I started pushing him out of the house when she appeared in front of us. I stopped and stood between them.

I grabbed my phone and called Mark.

She knocked the phone out of his hand and it broke. "Get away from him." I said.

"Sh!t!" I said and headed for Sammys house.

She started after him but she barely made it to the door before i grabbed her. I wasnt a very good fighter so she had the upper hand.
I got up and went outside and met Masen.
