"Yes, Alucard. I was expecting your call."

"Well then when would you like to go shopping?"

"No. I don't want you to do that for me. My life may be crap but I deal with it and so much more that you probably couldn't understand..." I said softly and hung up.

I looked at my phone and sighed. I got dressed and walked outside. I would go to every book store in town until I found her and talked to her.

I put my phone in my pocket and went back to sorting books.

I walked up to the girl at the counter and asked if a 'Lizbet' worked here. When she pointed me in the right direction I saw her. I followed Liz and tapped on her shoulder when she was around.

I was softly singing a Romanian lullaby that my mother would sing to me when I had woken up from nightmares.

"Go to asleep my tiny baby,
Try to sleep and get asleep

When I finished the last line someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned to see who it was.

I looked at her and spoke softly, "Lizbet... What's your nightmare?" Only when a child is scared they sing it. I leaned down and touched my lips softly to hers. I never planned on doing it. But I did anyways. I didn't pull away. I would let her do that.

I started to kiss back but then pulled away. "Why would you care? How would you know if I suffered from nightmares?" I asked softly.

"Because everyone does," I said softly. "That song is only sung by those who are scared of their nightmares Lizbet. And I want to help you."

"I sing that lullaby when I miss my mother....When I was little and woke up crying she would come to my room....craddal me on her lap until i feel asleep again....." I said softly looking at the floor and then looked up at him. "Why do you want to help me of all people, Alucard? Why are you here?"

"Because your sadness is written all over your face," I said softly. "And it pains me to see it." I brushed my hand over her cheek. "That is why people think you're ugly when really you're beautiful. They can't see past your mask." I kissed her forehead softly.

"Why should it pain you when it's my pain and sadness...? It's my own and tanigable in my hands....mine to nurse....and the ra-" I almost let it slip........I ran into the back where only employee's could be before he hold me still.

I sighed and punched the book shelf softly. I knew exactly what was going through her head before hand. She was screaming. If it were aloud the whole city would have heard her. She was begging for help. For the pain to cease. For the rapping to end. And I couldn't just turn away from her and say nothing. That was the reason that I was hear. I called her phone again and started walking towards where she ran off to.

(my female characters are so depressing.......and it doesnt help the women in the current anime Im watching are depressing......>.<)



I took my buzzing phone out of my pocket and threw it agaisnt the wall and kept heading for the employee lounge.

((That sucks. And I have noticed that this is the third character that you've had raped before that we've RPed with))

I heard it go to voice messages before she picked up. I didn't leave a message but I did follow her. I made others look the other way as I walked by. No one would see me. Not even the cameras.

(sorry.....I don't mean too.....Its not really me writing....it this version of Lizbet writing....im just the body shes using...)


I went into the lounge and curled up into a corner. Luckily for my sake no one was in here. The tears started to fall down my cheeks.

((lol... wait. Do I want to know what that really means?))

I walked inside and started rubbing her back when I saw her in the corner. "You're screaming. But no one can hear you right? No one's listening. Well I am."

(it's something some writers develop when they have a passion for writing and leave how their character acts with open palms.)

I couldn't speak. I was crying too hard now. But I was not weak enough to curl up into him and cry into his chest.

I held her close to me. "That's why I'm here. And why I want to help you," I said softly as I held her.

Why can you see through such a 'mask'? Why do you want to be here with me If I pain you? Why should I let you help me? Why do you care if I'm screaming on the inside? Why would you care if I'm a victim of rape? Questions like that boiled over in my head. But I would not let myself utter them to him. I didn't know if I could trust him or anyone for that matter....I lost my sense of love and trust two years ago....

I kissed the top of her head. "Because how could I not?" I asked. "I heard someone screaming for help when I was five miles out of this city Lizbet. I followed the scream to you. It was so loud you wouldn't... no couldn't believe. It's in my nature to care for and help those who are in need. And you really do need it."

"I---lost--two important things.....they can't be replace...it's useless to try, Alucard.." I said in sobs.

"Nothing is useless," I whispered softly to her. Then it hit me like a speeding train. I got a headache that could've split the continents apart a hundred times. I flinched and pulled away. "I'm sorry," I said putting my hand to my head. "Do you have any glasses?" I didn't like eating my powder straight up because it wasn't as affective and it just plain tasted nasty.

"In the cupboard.........." I got up and got him a glass and filled it up with water.
