Eternity is a Long Time 1x1

I nodded and followed the butler named Kandavish as he showed me each of the rooms around the mansion. " Your human." i muttered slightly uncomfortable. I fiddled with my fingers. When he showed me a room that was suitable. I thanked him and quickly locked myself inside.

Kandavish came back and brought me a glass of blood. "Thank you, Is she settled in?" I asked him.

"Yes sir, and she has locked the door."

"Go give her some blood she need to feed, without killing."

I walked over to the window and opened it for fresh air. I sucked it in. My teeth ached and i felt sick to my stomach. He could have at least warned me. Though i should've known. I sighed and looked at the extravagant room.

Kandavish walked upatairs and knocked on the door "My lady, I have something to eat for you." He said and waited for her to answer the door... if she would answer the door.

I froze. Is it you?is what i wanted to say. Not only was he human he was a male. My only target. But i wanted to turn over a new leaf. I didn't want the life i had been living for the past 3 years. I took in an unneeded breath and opened the door cautiously.

Kandavish held out the glass to her. "This will help with the edge." he said "If you need anymore, just ring." He said "Is there anything else you need?"

" No but thank you." i bowed my head slightly as i took the glass from him. Blood from a glass. Now that was interesting. I sipped at it.

Kandavish came back to the sitting room, "She took the glass, sir. She will be asleep in the next 20 minutes." He said and walked out of the room.

She needed to sleep and that is what I told Kandavish to give her. He put a sleeping serum in her drink so that she would be rejuvinated.

Before i knew the class of blood was gone. I licked my lips. And continued to stare thoughtlessly out of the window. I still wanted to know why he wanted to help me so much. Why he was so kind. Did he want something? Of course he did all men did, somehow this would benefit him, i had to keep my guard up. I yawned, exhausted and plopped on the bed.

I stood up and walked to the library, I was trying to help this girl. She seemed like she wouldn't be that hard to help. I just hoped she wanted to be helped.

I yawned again not understanding why i was so tired. I got up to close the window and the heavy curtains. I walked around the room trying to keep myself awake. I couldn't fall asleep yet. I still wanted to know why he wanted to help me. Before i could finish anymore thought, i dropped, barely making it to the bed.

I could tell that she was asleep now. I smiled, Good now there wasn't so much tension soming form her room. I fould feel it all the way down here.

I hadn't slept like that in a long time. I hadn't moved at all. I was only half way on the bed, the way i had fallen asleep. How could i sleep so well when i wasn't even that comfortable. I ignored that thought and opened the door of my room. Hoping not to run into the butler. I figured i'd explore.

I woke up from the chair I had fallen asleep in. I looked at the book I had, this book always made me fall asleep. I stretched and stood up. I walked up the stairs heading towards my room.

I headed down the hall. There were a lot of doors in this place. I brushed my fingertips along the wall as i walked. I wondered where Roman was. He said we wouldn't see each other unless i wanted to. What was that supposed to mean. Did he know if i wanted to see him? I turned the corner, it was like maze.

I reached the top of the stairs and turned the corner and saw Beiya. "Well hello." I smiled

I jumped slightly. That was weird. " Hello Roman." I rocked back on my heels. " I was just...taking a walk."

I laughed "Its okay, most of these doors are locked anyway. I haven't even been in them." I said,

I nodded. Silence fell and i rocked farther back on my heels. " Um, thank you for letting me stay here." i looked up at him.

I nodded to her. "Anything I could do to help." I said "And I didn't like the thought of you in a crypt that just seems like it would be really creepy."

" After 3 years you kind of get used to it." i sighed. " Though the creepiness of it never went away. It was just...safe." i looked down towards the floor.

I walked up to her and put my finger up her chin and tilted it up so that she was looking at me, "You don't have to go back to the crypts." I promised.

His touch was shocking. I looked him straight in the eyes. " Thank you." i smiled lightly. There was a sincerity in his voice that i trusted.

I nodded at her. "Are you ready to talk or do you want a tour of the house?" I asked her. I needed to change first before we did anything. "Come on." I said walking towards my bedroom.

I followed him. " A tour would be nice." i said unsure if i wanted to talk just yet. " But i have some questions before we get to my issues."
