Pirates of the Caribbean: Time to move on (private)

"Potatoes and some kind of canned meat," I said.

"I'm good...I brought my first supper with me...just havent had time to eat it yet."

I nodded. "So how far 'till ship wreck cove?"

"Eh...at this pace I'd say 12 to 24 hours."

I nodded. "And if the winds picked up in our favor then what?"

"Then maybe 10-12 hours at best."

I nodded. "Against us?"

"In our favor if the wind picked up."

"No I mean if the winds started blowing the other direction," I said.

"oh...then it will take a day or more i think."

I nodded. "Alright," I said.

"you have the rum on hand?" I asked.

I showed him my bottle. "Want some?"

"if you dont mind sharing." i said

"I shared my spit with you," I said. "Just so long as you don't drink it all."

"I just want a sip for now." I said.

I held the bottle out for him.

I took the bottle and then took a small sip and then gave it back.

I smiled and took a long gulp at mine. "What are you doing now?"

"Just studying the maps they have. Might buy some new ones when we doc." I stopped for a moment to get out my supper.

I nodded and looked at them. "They aren't that current are they," I said.

"Not really but I can manage."

I looked at the maps. It looked as though it was full of ink "X"s and written words.

"Its just jibberish."

"More like ports," I said pointing to one. "Tortuga... Singapore... Port Royal."
