I checked Shadow one more time before I got on kales back. I hoped I was makeing the right decision by leaving

He brushed him off and stepped out of his grip. "Calm down Leo. We are going to find you sister, but it seems apparently that while we can guess who she is with, he seems to have taken her to a place that only he has access to. " He said cooly. "She'll be fine."

Kale jumped up and flew high. He flew in circles waiting for her to pick a direction.

"Ok so what did the voices say then?" this was all new to me and as for the bond well that was going to take some getting used to

"even with the bond im the only one who can hear them" i said closing my eyes

"I know, but what did they say?" I said

Leo ground his teeth and pushed the vamp against the wall again "Bring her here now. She's in danger."


I looked at Shadow and sighed as we left

'So what did you need?' Kale asked 'Ive been looking for you brother but i cant find where hes at' He admitted and settled down on the beach.

((I know, we stood there for about an hour trying to get it out, and it was me my mom my aunt Two people with tiny boats had to help Hahaha))

I waited for Kale to change back so we could really talk.

He shifted and laid on his stomach with his head resting on his arms.

I had to look away from him "Why are you mad at me and Shadow?" I asked him

He couldnt really explain it, so he just showed her the part of his mind from when he saw the crash to well, now. 'There'

"I-I didnt know...Well I kinda suspected but...why didnt you tell me?"

'cause...' He started

I was listening in a little so i intervined, 'cause he's too dang shy.' I provided and heard Kales mental growl. I put up a block so he knew i wasnt listening anymore

I smiled a little as I heard Kari "Well...what now?"

'Ill take you back to shadow.' He said, standing up and shifting back to a large bird

"No." I said not moving "That wont solve anything."

He shifted back while leaning to fall back on the sand with a thud, 'what is there to solve?' he didnt trust his real voice one bit

"I dont want to hurt you, and seeing me with him will hurt you..."

'Ill get over it. Im strong...sorta' He tried to joke

I didnt laugh "I dont want to hurt you." I told him, thinking Because I kinda like you too But I didnt dare say that out loud

'I wont be hurt, you have my word' He nodded and closed his eyes

"Pleas dont do that..." I told him "I can hear you mind...I know your lying," I was suprised he didnt hear the part about me liking him too. I pushed the thought away. I was with Shadow. I loved Shadow...didnt I?

'Im trying at least...And yes i did hear you.' he added quietly

"No you didnt." I said, wanting it to be true.
