Why is she so nice to me? I've barely gotten to know her I wondered before snapping out of my daze. "Yeah, so far as I can tell, there's nothing to cure it. There haven't been that many Brokens since most of them were either executed or banished." I yawned. "Ah, man, maybe sleep'll help me think"

I laughed "no better...sleep stops you thinking...works miraculously..at least for me"
I wasn't tired...the coffee was no help either and the whole Broken thing kept me thinking.
So I sat on the rock and took my guitar playing soft tunes while humming along.
it was a nice change to have company...I didn't care much about how long it would be...he was friendly enough and something inside me felt he was ok.
The night sky cleared up and a few stars started to fight their way through the clouds.

"Yeah, probably" I said, lying down on the sleeping bag. I felt the sudden wave of fatigue that I tried to avoid all day. But I wasn't about to fight it this time. My eyes drooped shut and I was asleep in seconds.

I watched him pretty much passing out in seconds...I chuckled wishing I could fall asleep that easy...I always had trouble with that.
I was wondering what I should do with him...being broken makes him a target...trouble....
I grinned...well ooooooh don't we love trouble? stroking my guitar. Who would have known after the years that I would ever feel protective of someone again ... the last time didn't end too well..

I was glad I didn't dream this time. Dreams for me weren't just dreams. They always showed me things that could or might happen. That was the definite drawback of being Broken.

Zhane got bored of the girls. They were all over him and he likes to fight before he captures. He likes to show the girls his skills, if a normal person would call that skills, but for his ego, it were skills. Lack of common sense, way too ironic jokes, ego-above-the-clouds character, his "hotness". They are still young, kind of too young for my taste he thought while he was making a fake smile towards the girls. Ok, time to move on before their daddy comes to the rescuse "Ladies, it was a pleasure to talk to both of you, but I must go." Then he took one of the girls hands and kissed it, eyes locked with the girls. Repeated of course, with the other girl.
"Now if you'll excuse me" Zhane bowed like he was prince charming and walked away from them. What to do, what to do he was bored. Zhane thought there would be more girls on this party, that's why he put his best white shirt and dark blue jeans. Near the jeans pocket on his right side was a metal chain, small, but classy. He thought it would give him a bad boy look. But so far no luck.
He went to the booze table and took another beer from it. Well, if there will be no sex tonight, might as well get drunk he thought to himself before he took a big gulp.

I smiled. "No, im fine, one was enough for me" i said. He was actually a good person than i tought he was. I guess i overjudged him too much.

Marat escorted Feisha to her cabin. Once they got there he let go of her arm and looked at her with a smile. "Well, I better let you rest. Don't want to disturb you or anything like that. I'm happy that you decided to join the party." As he waited for her response he secretly wished she could invite him in, not for anything nasty, but just to talk. That would give him a chance to know her, and for her to know him.

I smiled. "Thank you but im not that tired to sleep roght now." i said. "Would it be too much if i asked you to come in?" I nit my lip, i didnt want to give him the wrong impression tough.

"Well I... uhm... I... It, it would be an honor." Marat started to blush again, he felt like she was reading his mind. "But, just to be sure... I don't want you to think I have the wrong idea. I'm not like other guys... if... you know... what I'm referring to." Why the hell did you say that?? What is wrong with you??! Of course she knows you don't mean you're going to have sex with her?!! Geez Marat!! He talked to himself embarrassed of the things he said. He wanted to fix it somehow but he thinks he will only make it worse, but it can't get worse than this. "I... uhm.. I probably shouldn't have said that, I think I better go." He put his head down, a bit sad and ashamed of how he reacted. He never means harm, but love is not his thing, and he is aware of that.

I took his hand. "Please dont leave. And i know that your not like most of the guys in the pack. I like that about you, your different but in a good way" i said.

Marat smiled softly to those words. He felt like his whole world just exploded in joy. You didn't do anything wrong he thought to himself still smiling. "I would be delighted to stay." Still holding her hand he looked into his future wives eyes like they are the only two wolves in the whole world.

Marat walked in the cabin. It was small, like the rest of our cabins, but it had a female touch, unlike Zhanes. "Uhm.. no.. thanks no food, but a glass of water sounds nice." He tried to smile, but actually, he was really nervous. Marat just stood there, not knowing what to do. He was starting to sweat, and that is not a good sign.

I got a water bottle from the small fridge i had by my bed. "Here you go" i said handing it to him.

"Thanks." The sweating was getting worse, so Marat almost emptied the bottle. He stopped when he noticed that Feisha is looking at him funny. He was really nervous. "Sorry, I've uhm... I've never been in a ladies cabin before. I guess I'm just nervous being here." He was blushing again. You're such a girl! his mind was screaming at him. When he managed to shut himself up, still standing there, he looked at Feisha. "So, tell me a bit about yourself. I mean, not the parts I already know, but you know... A bout yourself." He knew that he needs to calm down, and talking to people, and listening to them too, are one of his abilities, not as a wolf though, but as a human.

"Its fine, i understand" i said smiling. I went and sat cross legged in the bed. "Well..." i said going blank. What can i say that he dosent know. "When i found out that my father had arranged for me to get married with you i was mad, and frustrated. I feelt like it wasnt fair for me, and tonight, when i went to the party, i was going to get drunk and get payback on you for being so happy about it... but then i guess i changed my mind when you talked to me" I looked at him. "I really am sorry if i hurted your feelings"

Marat went to her, knelt before her. My god she is pretty he said to himself while he looked into her deep eyes. "You... had every right to be mad. And you should not be sorry for being mad." While he looked at her he smiled softly. He reached out and put his hand on her cheek. "You never hurt my feelings, no matter what you do. Every time you got mad at me, and.." he smiled softly looking away then looked back at her "there were many times, I do remember, I never, not one second stopped loving you. Even though you never knew that I do, I never stopped." Then he sat near her on the bed. "I know that you got frustrated because of the marriage, but uhm... Why was that? I mean... I know that you're still young, but I really want to know why, because, it would help me understand you even more." He looked at her. Just looked, waiting, waiting for those painful words that he never wishes to hear from her "because I don't love you or ever will" was all he could hear in his head but hoped for a different response.

I took a deep breath and said the truth. "Because i never wated to marry right now, i still want to do things, so many things, but mostly because im... im afraid to love someone" i didnt look at him, i just stared at my hands. "I dont know how to be close to someone, and if i did, id end up hurting them. But with you..... its comfusing... i was frustrated because inside i feelt something for you but i never wanted to show it to myself or make myself believe that"

Marat turned her head gently with his hand so he could look in her eyes. "It is ok to be confused and afraid, hell I was confused too, and, I still am afraid. And it is pure nonsense that you can't be close to someone. Hey, we are close right now." He tried to force a smile on his face as he put his hand down from her face, even though he wanted to touch her more, her skin was just so soft. "And, if you feel unsure about this marriage, we could make something up. I don't want you to be unhappy with me." Even though he wanted to marry her so much, his first obligation is to make her happy, or at least it is what he thinks. He doesn't want to push her into something that would turn out to be a disaster. He does want her, with all of his heart, but he can't ignore the images of sadness that are going trough his mind right now. Marat just sat there, near her, head bent down so she couldn't see his teary eyes.

I nooded. "I know that now" i said touching his cheek so he was staring at her. A panged of sadness washed over me as i saw that he was about to cry, because of her. "Im sorry.... but right now i dont want to make something up, i want to be happy, and if that means marrying you one day than so be it. If you give me time, i kno i can open up and love you" And with that i gave him a sof kiss on the lips.
