Royal Blood

Sky felt the young royal become more comfortable in his arms. Perhaps he was wrong to have shouted at her like he did. But he couldn’t help it. Everyone had breaking points and today was just a rough day for the both of them. He needed to stop only thinking about himself in his situation, something he always seemed to misunderstand. Rose was here too, and if he left who would she have to hold her in her times of need like this? That protector, Verik, wasn’t much help. Eva was even better than what he was. But neither of them could sit here, their arms wrapped around her small body, knowing they could protect her with everything they had. Sky could do that. He could protect her, just like she could protect him. They were royals. There was a reason their blood was so desired, it was so strong and so powerful. If they bothered to learn the full extent of their heritage, they could probably be unstoppable… No one allowed them to though. They were forced to sit there and watch everyone else do all the work whilst they get ‘protected’ by someone weaker than what they were. The boy sighed and lifted himself up, hoisting Rose up as well. “We should go back to the school. I want to talk to you… without protectors around.” He murmured down to her. He took a small glimpse at Eva in the distance, but for the first time ever, not with spite.

She knew better not to leave Verik sight at all times but, something about Sky' voice saying he needed to talk to her knew that it was royal bussiness. "Alright... lead the way." She whispered back. This was so wrong but, that didn't stop her from doing what she thought she had to do. Plus whatever it was that Sky wanted to talk about it must be important that he only trusted her to hear. Rose couldn't blame him she kept many things from Verik still even though he hasn't done anything she still didn't bother to tell him everything. Did she tell everything to Sky? As much as she hated to admit it she did which scared her a little. At times she was convinced that he would be ready to turn on her and devour her blood so he could be the strongest of Royal of them all but, then he managed to change her mind. He was different but, that didn't mean he didn't want power. She shook away the thought of Sky drinking from her and looked to him to follow his lead. Rose began to wonder what scared Sky the most just looking at him he seemed fearless but something told her differently.

Sky kept one of his arms wrapped around Rose’s waist to keep her close to him. He felt the need to do this, not only for her safety but for his own. He had pushed so many people away recently it felt nice to have someone else’s warmth beside him, it was something that he deprived himself of quite often. They both walked quickly down the narrow roads of the street and through back into the Academy, passing by the reception area. The male royal frowned when he heard the familiar voices of the new students, along with another voice and another smell. He turned his head to Rose, a confused look on his face. What was the school doing letting others into the grounds when clearly it was hazardous to the two royals? He took his arm from around female’s waist, the calming warmth now disappearing, and stormed through into the reception, his eyes now laying on the three vampires which sat neatly in the corner.

Rose wasn't able to stop him from storming off so, she just let him. From the way the older woman looked comparing it to the student they were related. That hair looked so familiar... Wait! That's Seto so that ust be his sister and mother. "Sky!" Rose called out to him trying to get his attention. She refused to look at the family and see how they were one happy family. She remembered her mother smiling and laughing with her and it just brought her back to the place she wish she never was which was wanting to be with her mother again. "Sky don't make me have to hurt because of your from you immature behavior." She warned him. All she wanted was to get out of here so she wouldn't have to see something she will never recieve again.

Lenore had kept the conversation going for as long as she could manage and while the tea cooled and the treats were consumed, she told her two beloved children the reason for her visit. "Your father has decided to come home early. He will be here by the next full moon." And considering the current phase of the silvery orb, it would be sometime within the next four days. Seto looked rightfully surprised while Claudia let out a shriek of delight and went on about having to be let out of school to see him and for their mother to please make that happen. Lenora smiled lovingly at her children, eyes displaying more emotion than words could ever be capable of doing and gave Claudia a gentle nod. "I will see what I can do," she said with care in case all that she could do was not enough to release her children from this academy. Her green eyes traveled to her silent son, asking without words what was wrong. The young male simply shook his head and gave his mother a carefree grin, body relaxing to further express there was nothing wrong. Lenore reached out and took Seto's cheek in a motherly caress and stood to kiss her son's forehead.

The threatening voice of Rose only came faintly onto Sky’s ears as he watched the loving scene before him. His eyes narrowed in anger and sadness as he watched the two newest students converse happily with, who he now assumed was, their mother. He felt his teeth grind together and the sound of his jaw clicking as it moved. He wanted to tear their faces off, ruin their happiness and take it away, just like his was. His breathing quickened as he spun away from the scene, knowing doing harm to the other vampires would not do his reputation any good so he spotted the first thing he could attack; the receptionist. The male royal stormed over to her desk, slamming his hands heavily down onto the wood, making it crack. “Why did you let a stranger into the Academy?!” He screamed, his face becoming flushed from the sudden rush of adrenaline in his veins. His eyes flashed a deep red as he slammed his hand down onto the desk again when she did not answer, only stare at him with a frightening expression; but this time it collapsed down onto the ground, splinters flying out across the floor.

(Yea I see it haha.)

Rose rushed to the poor lady behind a broken desk wanting to protect her from Sky's rage. "I'm sorry. I take full respondsiblity for his actions." She murmured to the frightened vampire. Then she noticed how the vampires seemed to be filled with fear Rose could only feel sorry for her. She knew what it was like to be face to face with a royal vampires who was pissed. "Sky, listen to me. Calm down before I have to do something I don't want to do." Her voice was calm not filled with rage but, on the inside she was having a difficult time trying to keep her anger from exploding as well. "She will give you an answer if you ask nicely." He went a little- not even close he was way over board when he lost his control. You didn't want to be around him at a time like this but, Rose always was. She managed to help him compose himself again or let him shout and yell at her whatever it was to help him. Right now it would just be best for them to get out of here then talk about whatever it was and go their seperate ways. Rose did like being with Sky but, at times he just rubbed her the wrong way causing for her to want to rip his throat out.

“No!” Sky spun around, his eyes now facing those of the other royals. “She has no excuse to be letting people like that into the school! None at all! How dare she put our lives at risk!” He spat before turning back away from her and falling down onto the floor, his knee resting on a long piece of splintered wood. His face now level with the receptionists who trembled against the mundane office chair she was sitting in, almost in tears from his outburst. He didn’t feel anything, nothing at all; the true vampire that resided within him was out to play now and all he felt was the power he knew he had, he knew he should take control of. He brought his hand up and pressed it hard against the female’s temple before, with a lightning fast movement, smashing her skull against the hard wall beside them. A loud crack was heard throughout the room as she fell unconscious. Sky hadn’t killed the vampire, it was very hard to kill a vampire, and even harder to kill a royal vampire, he had only just taught her a lesson she shall not forget. Not unless she wanted her seemingly sleeping position to be permanent.

Rose reacted quickly pushing Sky backward onto the broken desk. "You asked for it." She hissed and kicked him right in his manhood. Her eyes changed from their light blue eyes filled with sweetness to inky black which meant she was angry. "You know what you just did! You almost killed her! How would you like it if I made you sleep for the rest of your misrable loney life?!" Sky had done this without thinking about what would happen to others. That annoyed her since others would get effected by his actions. Right now she was determined to hurt his pride but, knowing she had a soft heart she would regret in later. "Be lucky I'm not going to stab a broken wood pieces of this desk into your liver." She informed him while her eyes stared down at his face. She moved his hands to his chest wanting him to suffer until the pain went away. She had much more in mind for him... but, that would invole dragging him back to her room where she stashed her knifes. Right now Sweet Rose wasn't there and well... getting her back to her caring self was the difficult part.

In the next moment, not even being able to process what had actually happened, Sky was lying on his back with a sudden excruciating sharp pain travelling through his groin and into his stomach. He gasped loudly from both shock and pain, the kick from a royal vampire was not one wanted to be on the opposite side of, especially not when it was being aimed at one of the most sensitive areas of the body; it had incapacitated him, yet the pain only fuelled the anger he had running through his mind at the moment. His hands flew to the affected area mostly from instinct and trying to protect it from any other blows the other vampire may be planning, but she stopped him. She was angry, very angry and he knew it from her eyes; they were a sickening black which seemed to swirl in the light, making them look as if they were never ending holes that could devour him, however in his current state, he didn’t care if she devoured him, just like she didn’t. It was natural for the royal vampires to have such a violent temper but it was only rare that one would ever see it, well except in Sky's case, of course. “She deserved it.” The male spat at the girl looking down at him. He wouldn’t feel the guilt she was trying to make him to.

"I hate you! You ruined my life and took my loving parents away from me! God! I want to hurt you to the ponit where you are crying blood tears! You know what I have to deal with everyday? The pain of watching my parents die as if it were a show on tv every freaken day! Care to see everything I saw? I'll be gladly to show you." She hissed and bit into his shoulder hard causing it to bleed as she showed him her painful memories. The thing is she didn't realize this was Sky she was ranting at right now she saw the man who killed her parents instead. Rose gripped Sky's musculer arm tighter not wanting him to move an inch. "You think she deserved that? Well Why don't I show you what you don't deserve?" Rose sneered waiting for him to take in the agonizing sights she witness at such a young age. Then she would show him what he didn't deserve.

The pain of the bite or the pain which still pulsed in his groin weren’t anything to compare to what the pain that Rose had caused him now. Her emotions and memories thrust into his system, suddenly making his body rigid, almost as if he were made of stone. They took a while to take effect, slowly seeping, like a loose tap gently dripping water, into his blood and into his mind, poisoning them with the murderous thoughts that the other royal had to endure each day. Suddenly, an agonising scream erupted from the boy’s mouth. The strong feelings from Rose mixed with his own and the horrific memories they shared so closely, blended with each other. It was like he was reliving the entire experience, but not only his own, but hers too. It was so real, the blood, he could smell the blood, he could see it, he could touch it; feeling the wet, once alluring, substance grace itself upon his fingertips. Their bodies lay on the floor below, slaughtered into tiny little pieces, their faces with the ghost of their smiles etched upon them, like they didn’t even stand a chance against the man who killed them. Sky’s body shook violently beneath the female royal as she hallucinated, not realising the real person she was forcing her memories upon, and another raw scream scraped against the back of his throat, causing blood to well up within his mouth. But he couldn’t feel anything but the realism of the thoughts that pierced his skull. “Please stop.” He gargled pathetically, the blood spilling from between his lips and tears now rolling freely down his flustered cheeks.

Rose smiled in satifaction knowing she made him bleed as well as scream. "Hurts doesn't it love? Why stop when I'm having so much fun?" She growled licking the blood that poured out. For some reason it didn't taste right. It caused for her head to pound and then wince in pain. "Ow!" She cried out and loosened her grip on Sky's arm and feel onto him. This was the effect of Royal blood on another royal which is what prevente royals from killing each other while drinking their blood. As for a vampires drinking their blood it had a different effect entirely since their was posion that was pretty deadly unless you were immune to it then it would be the best blood a vampire could ever taste. The only way to kill a royal was to rip out their heart and eat it. "Stop it! Please!" She whimpered. she only had so much little of the blood but that didn't stop the effects from being major. A painful whistle pierced her ears which made her hold her head with her hands. Before she knew it she was crying out in pain. She saw what was going on now too this wasn't the man who killed her parents it was Sky. Rose had hurt Sky which made her feel terrible about herself. She needed to get away from him now. He would never forgive for her actions he proubly hated her... she didn't care though... well maybe.

((I'm gonna just pretend the receptionist was in another room, behind a wall or something because these scenes, I just realised, would be pretty awkward for the family sitting in the main entrance foyer, saying goodbye, y'know, all lovingly. xD))

(That's what I thought in the first place... haha. Yea it would ruin their little family moment seeing two royals freaking out.)

Even though he begged, the crying boy knew that no one could do anything to help those memories from penetrating his thoughts, not unless they killed him to stop his heart from beating them around his body. Although through the haze of the emotional pain he felt, he somehow knew that Rose must’ve been hallucinating and that she probably wasn’t going to do much to help him as he thrashed about on the floor beneath her, his hands gripping at anything they could find, mostly his own arms and tearing at the flesh in some kind of attempt to relieve his blood from these horrific feelings. It wouldn’t work though. It clung to his veins, poisoning the blood of which passed through. It would be near impossible to rid himself of the sticky substance, but right now, Sky wasn’t thinking right and what was processing through his thoughts, other than the actual memories, was the need to do anything to try to stop them. “Eva.” He whispered the one simple name, blood spitting out from between his teeth. She was his protector, she would hear him no matter where he was and she would come to his aid.

((They'd probably have heard the screams though... xD))

"Sky!" Rose shouted at him trying to get him to stop tearing at his arms. This was all her fault and she felt like she needed to do something. "Sky! Listen to me stop hurting yourself and calm down. Please Sky." She tried to soothed him. Everything just turned into hell today what was left to destory it now was proubly seeing the heartless man who killed both of their parents. Then the bloody smell hit her and she began to freak. "Sky!" She cried out trying to get him to snap back out of it. Just seeing her only friend like this made her realize how much he truly meant to her. However, these feelings you wouldn't get for a just a friend though. Rose knew excaltly what was happening too. She didn't want to say it or even think it right now she needed for Sky to get as as far away from her as possible. That's when she heard him call out to Eva she didn't know if she should be glad for that or worried. From what she knew Sky hated protectors... but, from his behavior now something told Rose much more was about to change for Sky.

Any noises that Sky had previously heard drowned out slowly and what replaced it was an eerily silence. Even though he could see the female royal bending over him, her face twisted into an expression of fear, he couldn’t hear the words that were spilling from her mouth. More tears rolled down his cheeks as he felt his head being lifted up by someone and placed gently back down, now on an elevated surface. It was warm, soothing and he could only guess that it was someone else’s body. A loud, wet cough vibrated his throat, forcing the metallic substance that had dripped down into his stomach to come back up, spilling out from his lips adding to the amount that was already smeared across his face. Suddenly, the royal's blood caked hands gripped tightly onto the wrist of his protector as he convulsed violently in her arms. The memories and emotions that were forcefully put into his body, soon took over, causing his eyes to roll back into his skull and to be only replaced by a lonely darkness.

"Sky... please hate me." She whispered before leaving a kiss on his forehead. It was just something she thought she should do as well as grab his bloody hand on hold it. Everything would be alright soon... Sky would wake up and it would be another day. The thing is how Sky would treat her scared her. There wasn't anything she could do she wasn't stable enough to help him at this point. "One day we will laugh about this." She forced herself to smile while talking to him. Sky wasn't going to respond anytime soon and again the gulit began to eat at her making her want to cry. Not here... Not here. She reminded herself. Rose stared at his hands noticing how crappy they looked right now. They were covered in blood and cut up. Those scars told stories she knew one day she wanted to hear them. Rose brought his hand to her lips and bit into it injecting her vemon. That would help for now until he woke up again.

(-sighs- I've been at my dads still am till tomorrow can someone fill me in please. i'm a little lost and don't have really time to read.)

((Okay so, Rose and Sky left the cemetery where Sky was mourning his parents and went back to the school, only to see Seto and Claudia's mother there, conversing with her children with a very loving manner. This upset Sky greatly and he took it out on the receptionist in the other room, annoyed that she'd let in a stranger into the school, and he almost killed her by smashing her head against the wall. Rose was angry with Sky's actions and kicked him in a place he'd rather not be kicked. He retaliated by saying she deserved it and Rose began to hallucinate, thinking Sky was the guy who killed their parents and injected him via a bite, her memories and emotions from that night. Due to the fact that Sky has his own memories and emotions to deal with, he felt extreme emotional pain and began to hallucinate himself, which caused him to scream so hard that his throat started to bleed, until he called for Eva, who rushed to his side whilst he fainted. Rose snapped out of the hallucination and began to feel really bad for what she had done.))

(Seto's and Claudia's mother visting them. She comes to see her loving childern and gives the affection. Sky had something important to tell Rose but, they had to ditch the protectors because he wanted to be alone with Rose. On their way to behind the school Sky and Sky come across the family love with Seto's family. It literally upsets them but, Sky was more out their about it. So, he stromed into the repection room yelling at the poor lady behind the desk for allowing a stranger onto campus. Sky loses it and in his anger slams his fist onto the desk frightening the women even more. Rose rushs to help aid the vampire and shouts at Sky telling him to stop. Rose's words didn't go to him at all so instead he causes the vampire the be thrown againist the wall uncounsious but, not dead. Right then is when Rose loses her control completely because she is fed up with the emotions she is keeping bottled up. She tackles sky making him fall onto the broken desk and then kicks him right in his manhood( ouch ) then holds his hands to his chest so he has to suffer in pain. Rose begans to see the man who killed her parents but it really is just Sky and then shouts "I hate you! You ruined my whole life and took my loving parents away from me! What to know how I feel? How about I show you!" She bites Sky's shoulder shoving the tragic memories she wanted him hurt to the ponit where he was crying bloody tears. Sky is overwelmed by Rose's memories and he is begining to lose it too because now he has to deal with his and Rose's memories making it worse for him. Rose eventally stops relizing what she has done to Sky and then becomes in terrible pain because a royal's blood make her head hurt and cause for a whistle to pierce her eardrums. Sky is on the ground with Rose on top of him calling out for Eva because he needed help. Sky is now in Eva's care while Rose was left behind hating herself at what she had done. Yea excaltly what Saura said.)
