Haha. So er.... Kalona is still bad and I think that he will remain bad. Kalona has done so many things that only further his journey on the dark side.
-Killed tribal men
-Raped and killed woman
-Got the girls pregnant to create Raven Mockers
-Killed Heath
-And I dont remember what else.

I don't know...He is bad...but maybe...he was a good in the past.

I think at the very end Zoey and maybe some of the others will open his eyes and he will return to Nyx's side. I mean, after all he's an immortal. He can't be killed, so there are only 2 solutions: Seal him away again or get him to go back to Nyx. And I don't think it will be easy to trap him again. And even if they can, it won't be a permanent solution. Again.

or they could make him reborn as a mortal. Kalona's been banished from Nyx's realm in both body and spirit and Neferet has dominion over his soul for as long as he is Immortal, how on Earth could they get Kalona to go back to Nyx?

^ Exactly. And you know what I think? That what Zoey said to him in that vision has something to do with Nyx. I bet it's something like "Nyx would definitely welcome you back, if you just wanted it yourself and showed regret." Sure, right now that seems impossible with all his sins, but I still think in the end it might go down like that.

Also, upon rereading that scene, I noticed this: Aphrodite talks about someone that's in agony upon seeing the scene with the wheat fields. She feels agony but can't tell from who it is. Am I the only one thinking that it could be Nyx' agony that she felt?

I kinda thought that the agony was Darkness. That Kalona was burning them with flames, but Rephaim said "What Darkness can take take from some one who walks with Light can change your soul." i thought just the mere presence of Darkness was enough to cause pain

i just thought that Kalona made his announcement real and burned the ones who are against him on a field. The pain came trough the flames, cause that hurts of course... Aphro was just a victim from the ones who are burning.

So maybe it was being burned by flames, but also being burned by Darkness at the same time

maybe. i mean Neferet and Kalona were there. great chance to do a bit voltering...
