Kalona - Good or Evil?

okey so kalona yes i agree is evil but something about him makes me love him he my fav character, but i think giving the chance from Zoey and Nyx he could be a good angel because what nyx said to him if he did something worth of forgivness and i think he can.

He's more pathetic than evil, still someone needs to take him down a notch... hard. If he really wants forgiveness, he needs to take the first step, no one else can do it for him.

well he isnt ALL evil. he has done some nice things in his time. he hasnt done a lot of good but he has done some good

Kalona is a tuff character. He was good at one point because of his love for Nyx but something went wrong and he fell to evil. I think he has more evil than good in his soul right now and having Neferet in the picture it could stay that way.

Killing Heath was a big no no to Zoe and I couldn't forgive him if I was her. You can't trust those who show you heartache. I can only imagen the stress that Zo is going through and until Kalona can show his good side, and that he will remain that way, I think all hope is gone for him.

I'm going to keep my hope that he can be a good guy and help zoey and the gang defeat Neferet. i know i;m hopeless when it comes to Kalona, i'm under his spell, lol

Neferet just made him Evil.
Zoey i think kinda brought out his good side
As she reminds Kalona of A ya.

I know Kalona did bad things but he is noy all Evil just like Nyx is not all light, they both make mistakes but he can redeem himself if he gets away from Neferet and is around Zoey and her friedns to see what it's like to be light again.

Good guys don't "fall" from paradise for nothing. They don't terrorise, enslave, kill, and rape. They don't lay blame for their own actions on others. And he's been doing all this centuries before Neferet was even born. Also his obsession with Zoey has only lead him to stalking her, invading her dreams, manipulating her, and lets not forget his new trick (for those you have read Awakened). For all I know about Kalona, he has done only one selfless deed, which is hardly any reconcilliation for the thousands of people he terrorised, violated and/or murdered. Also, Neferet is not to blame for his actions, only him and him alone is responsible.

I was about to say something similar to this. I feel about Kalona like I feel about Darth Vader. At first he was a goodie but then he fell, just like Anakin Skywalker did and turned evil. Actually I see a lot of Vader in Kalona. (Yes I know, I'm a geek - but so what, Star Wars is awesome.)
But I think all hope with Kalona going back to the Light Side is pretty much gone, like you Cassie mentioned. As for Darth Vader, he was able to turn away from the Dark Side, but I don't think it's possible for Kalona any longer.

That is a good comparission Darth Vador and Kalona but like Vador i think Kalona can redeem himself and i stand by that he just needs the right motivation.

I like Darth Vader but hate Kalona. They are similar in many ways but apart from being born of pure awesomeness (the force), I at least know that Anakin was a pure soul who mostly just wanted to help. Plus I know he and Padme were in love with eachother, whereas I can't tell if what Kalona has is any more than an obsession.

Yeah, I think Kalona has more of the obsession part. Darth Vader actually loved Padmé.

Kalona could get all his toys back in his cott and get a grip, and realise everything cant go his way and that he cant control everything anyone does, and make up his mind on what side he wants to be on.
he has shown us that he wants to be back with Nyx*
and he has shown us that he loves the power Darkness gives him.

i wish the guy would make up his mind!

I keeping my hope up that Kalona will turn to light and back to nyx.

i know that ive said that kalona is a bad character and ill keep saying it, and i know that ive made a comparison between him and loren (he, too, is a bad character).

same:
- both really wanted zoey
- one (loren) got her, but the other really tried, but failed
- both were associated to neferet (need i say more??)
- both focused more on physical, rather than emotional, lust
different:
-loren is an actual human being
-kalona is a winged thing from a spritual world
- loren "worshipped" neferet, who called her self "nyx"
- kalona protected the real goddess nyx

i know there is more, but i cant think up of anything right now.

i feel like kalona is a little bit of both.
