L.P.O.V.

I had driven up to Port Angeles to go to the mall, something I never do. But if I was going to be a bride’s maid I had to have a dress. I walked into the first dress shop I saw and looked around; they were all frilly and girly. I left and went to another one and just when I stepped in my phone buzzed.

It was a text from Sam: This is going to sound weird but where r u?

Dress shop, why?

Turn around. The reply was nearly instant. I did what it said, and low and behold there was Sam. “What are you doing here?”

“Um, well I was actually… you’ll see later.” He said.

“Well, I’m dress shopping, wanna help?” I asked.

“As much as I’d love to, I have to do something. But will you meet me back here at noon for lunch on me?”

“Sure.” I went over and kissed him. “Love you.”

He smiled. “Love you more. Gosh, I have to go, but I love you and I’ll see you.” He turned and left. I sighed looking at all the dresses. I smiled, might as well make a statement. I went over and found a short lime green dress. I tried it on, it fit well feel just above the knees. I smiled satisfied I’d found something early and paid for it. I sat on the bench outside the store and waited.

Um it's actually a funny story. Sort of... not really. Here, I'll just put it in a spolier in case.

N.P.O.V.

Just as Jake and I sat down for lunch Alice told us we had to go find rings for each other. Jacob groaned “Can’t we eat first?”

She sighed tapped Jasper’s watch and said “Fifteen minutes.”

That was all it took Jake dug in and I ate a little. The food and blood diet was really hard to work with.

Alice came back and said “Time’s up shoo.” So we both got up. We went out to Jake’s car and he started driving around. “I can guarantee there aren’t any in Forks.” I said. “What about that mall in Port Angles?”

“Sure.” Jake said getting on the route to take us there.

We mad idle chatter until we arrived. I jumped out of his car and walked around to the front. He took my hand and we walked into the mall. We found a jewelry store and went it. We looked around for a bit until an employee came up and asked if he could help us. Jake looked up at him and got his question mark face until he finally said. “You’re that kid that Leah brought to the hospital, aren’t you?”

“Um.” The guy said.

“Sam, or Ram, or Kam, or something like that.” He said.

“Sam, and yeah Leah’s my girlfriend.”

“Well good on you.” He said. “And we’re to be married, were looking for wedding rings.”

“Well, we have some lovely ones over here.” He said walking down the counter. We followed him and talked for a while about things before we found two rings, his was a thing gold band, and mine was a silver one with a tiny diamond. I thought they were perfect, Jake wished he could do better.

We walked around for a while before Jake’s tummy rumbled. I rolled my eyes but smiled “Come on.” I said tugging on his hand and leading him to the food court.

J.P.O.V.

“Leah, wearing jewelry?” I burst out laughing. After a little bit Sam and Leah had shown up except Leah was carrying a shopping bag from an actual store that wasn’t a grocery store and she was wearing a necklace.

Her hands started trembling and Sam put his over hers. “Calm down.” He whispered to her.

She flicked the jewelry box with the rings in them “What’s that about?”

“We’re getting married as you know, and those are our wedding rings.”

“Speaking of, Renesmee, I wanted you to approve my dress.” She pulled a short lime green thing that might’ve been a dress out of the bag.

Ness bit her lip to fight back a giggling fit. “Alice will hate it but I love it.” She said giggling.

Leah grinned. “Excellent, mission accomplished.”

“And Sam?” I said.

“Yes?”

“As much as Leah probably won’t admit it, I’m as much of a brother as Seth, so you’ll have to people to go through if you hurt her.” I said throwing a french-fry at Leah which she caught and popped in her mouth.

“Yes, sir.” He said.

Ness hit my arm. “Be nice to him.” She said.

“Fine.” I said.

“Oh I forgot, my future isn’t seen here, because I’m protected my you two, so I can finally show you.” Nessie said and pressed her hands against my forehead. I saw an image of her in her wedding dress.

I felt her hands go away and I blinked a few times. “Alice will kill you.” I grinned not caring; she’d have two of us to go through.

“What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.”

Leah and Sam looked at each other before looking at us. “What the heck was that about?” They said at the same time except Leah used a less nicer word than heck.

“Nessie’s gift.” I said. She walked around the table.

“I can project images into your mind.” She put one hand on each of their foreheads, their eyes glazed over.

“Stop that.” Leah said batting her hand away.

“Cool.” Sam said smiling.

She let go of them and came back over to me and sat down. She took a few french-fries from my tray and ate them.

“Just one thing.” Leah said.

“Yes?” Ness asked.

“Never do that again.”

Ness grinned.

S.P.O.V.

Break came around again and me and Sara went to a fast food place across the street. “What movie?” Sara asked.

I swallowed the food in my mouth and said “I enjoy telling the ticket person to give me a ticket to whatever is good, but if you want to see something in particular.”

She shrugged. “Not really. That sounds like a great idea, has anyone ever not done it?”

“Well, I’ve gotten a few weird stares but eventually someone will tell me what to watch.” I said.

She checked her watch and cursed. “We better get back.”

“That’s not a nice word.”

“You’re a bad word.” She said jokingly.

I laughed as we dumped our few bits of food and trash and walked back to the convenient store. I hopped over the counter. “I thought I told you to stop doing that.” She said smiling.

“You know you like it.” I said as a few people came in.

A guy on duty looked at us, “Are you…?”

“Nope.” Sara said making change for someone.

“Doubly nope.” I added ringing someone up even though inside I was saying yesyesofcourseyesamilliontimesyeshowcouldyoueventhinkno?

LOL He was thinking so fast there were no spaces.

L.P.O.V.

By the time Jake and Renesmee left, Sam’s lunch break was over. I sighed and walked around the mall a bit before driving home.

I flopped on the couch, we had plans to meet for dinner but I missed him. I tried to take a nap but that didn’t work. I got up and poked around to the house before deciding to go cliff diving. I put a two-piece on under my tank top and shorts and ran to the cliffs.

Unfortunately the guys were there. Which meant Sam. Which meant I wasn’t going to associate with them. I walked to the edge of the cliff. “C’mon Leah!” They chanted.

“Are you scared?” Paul finally asked. I turned on him and punched him letting lose a lot of frustration. Unfortunately I forgot he’s moody so I had a fight picked.

“Five bucks on Leah!” I heard Quill shout.

“You’re on, Paul can take her!” Embry shouted.

But there wasn’t going to be a fight. Sam got this intense look and suddenly when Paul pulled back his arm to punch me, it fell back to his side. I could see him struggling. I smirked. “To bad Pauly-wauly.” I said ruffling his hair. Figured I might as well.

I went back to the edge and jumped. The water felt nice, and so was the feeling that I could do anything to Paul and he couldn’t do anything to me. I climbed back up and gave him a hug, which, seeing as he was dressed not to cliff dive, I knew he hated. But he hugged me back and said. “Nice to see you softened up.”

I let go of him. “You too Paulette.” I ruffled his hair again and Quil and Embry howled with laughter.

Paulette? Lol I can see Leah saying something like that.

N.P.O.V.

“Nessie!” Alice shrieked when I took my hands away from her forehead. “How could you allow her to wear such a thing?!” She said looking up at me. “This is all wrong, all wrong. I’m going to have to go redo the bride’s maids dresses.” She said. “Except for Leah’s of course I’ll just have to make hers the inspiration for the rest.”

“Sorry,” I said.

She made a motion as to brush it off. “Rose! Get down here, and leave Emmett upstairs. Or at least make sure he won’t bother us.”

Of course the both came down, arms wrapped around each other. “What’s the problem.”

“She,” – Alice pointed at me – “let Leah wear… well show her.”

I went over and got on my tiptoes so I could reach her and Emmett’s forehead. “Why’s that a problem?” Emmett asked as I took my hand away from them and went over to Jake.

“Because!” Alice said exasperated. “Everyone else’s dresses won’t go!”

Jasper came into the room from somewhere and went over to Alice. He put his hands on her shoulders and murmured something to her that sounded like ‘calm down’. Suddenly her face went sort of blank “It’s okay Nessie. I forgive you, thanks to Jasper.” She said a hint of annoyance in her voice. “It’s okay, it’ll all be fine.” She said wiggling out of Jasper’s grip.

“Now, Rose, we have to go dress shopping. Em and Jazz better come to since they still need tuxes. And no Nessie that does not mean you get the house to yourself, it means you come to and Jake you come also.” She said now that she could be annoyed.

I sighed. “Fine.” I said.

“What colors go with lime green?” She murmured to herself getting her notebook and purse and a jacket, which she handed to Jasper.

“Um, Alice?” He asked making a move to put up the jacket.

“You won’t want to do that. Rain is coming.” She said.

“Oh,” He said.

“Come on everyone, to the jeep and BMW. Boys in the jeep girls in the BMW.” She said walking towards the garage.

J.P.O.V.

The jeep ride was less than enjoyable because Emmett and Jasper had some sort of secret joke going on. They’d look at each other, grin, then look back at me and laugh. I was quite happy when we slid into the space next to the BMW. I jumped out of the jeep and walked over to Nessie wrapping my arms around her. She murmured and I love you before Alice came over and pulled us apart.

“What the heck?” I asked pretending heck was the word I used.

“We have business to attend to.” She said. “We’ll do tuxes first dresses second.”

“Why do they even need tuxes?” I asked her.

She rolled her eyes as if I’d just asked her how to my shoes. “They can’t go to a wedding in a t-shirt and shorts, plus it’s fun to shop. Speaking of t-shirts and shorts, you’re grooms men do own something presentable, right?”

“Uh.” I said, I think Embry might have one of those t-shirt’s designed to look like tuxes but I was pretty sure he outgrew it since the wolf thing.

“Jacob!” She said whacking my arm. “That was the only thing you had to do!”

“What was the only thing I had to do?” I asked.

“Get the grooms men something presentable.”

“Alice, I highly doubt any of them own, much less would want to wear something presentable. We’re 108.1 degrees for crying out loud, all of that extra clothing would kill us.”

She sighed tapping her foot against he asphalt of the parking lot. “I guess that will have to do, but they at least need to wear a shirt, okay?”

I grinned “Of course.” I said.

“Good.” She linked her arm through Nessie’s in a keep-any-sort-of-PDA-to-a-minimum way. Emmett went over and put his arm around the blonde chick who’s name kept escaping me. Jasper and I took up the rear as we walked into the mall. “Over there.” Alice pointed to a fancy-shmancy men’s’ wear department.

She let go of Nessie and went over to take Jasper’s hand skipping into the store. She apparently had Emmett and Jasper’s size memorized because she told the clerk and pulled a picture or two out of her purse. The clerk said something and Alice sat in one of the chairs by the dressing rooms. The clerk came back with a bunch of what appeared to be cloth and hangers. She passed it to the guys who looked at it and then switched hangers.

That was basically that as far as shopping went. Now we went on to dresses which Alice said no one was aloud to get out of even if they weren’t trying on dresses sending looks to me, Emmett, and Jasper. Joy.

Q.P.O.V.

It was summer again and more swimming lessons were going on, again. Although Claire did most of the teaching I was more lifeguarding and assisting. But summer was going okay.

I had told Claire about the wedding and she made me get a tux, which I sort of hated. But I didn’t tell her and I agreed to wear it.

We finished up our lessons and got back into her car. I slid into the passenger seat as she drove us to her house. We both changed out of our swimwear and into normal clothing.

We made it to her bedroom and I sat on her bed, she sat next to me. “I want cookie dough.” She announced and got off of the bed. She came back two minutes later with a tub of frozen cookie dough and two spoons. She sat back down putting the tub in my lap, I could almost see the steam rising so I picked it up and put it in between us.

“What’s with the sudden craving for cookie dough?” I asked her as I chiseled out a spoonful.

She shrugged eating some. She got this agitated look on her face for a few moments and finally she snapped the lid on the container and put it on the floor. She scooted next to me and put her head in my lap. “I hate it when things are between us.” She said as I stroked her hair.

“That was a tub of cookie dough.” I pointed out.

“And it was in between us.” She concluded.

“But I thought you wanted-” She cut me off.

“Never mind what I wanted a few minutes ago, I want to be with you now.” She said rolling over to look up at me.

“Okay, whatever you want.” I leaned down and kissed her.
