My father looked at me. Like he was examining me. I started to serve the bowls on the table my mother sat down next to my father. I was going to sit on the other side of leon but my mother gave me a the stink eye. My eldest brother looked at me. "I am using the car tomorrow. I have important things to do."

"The car is my gift to her. Not you. Whether or not you use it is up to her, so I'd recommend treating her niceley." I glared at him.

My eldest brother got up. He was going to hurt Leon. I got up and tried to calm him down. Everyone else in the family either new better, or was going to watch the show. I touched my brothers shoulders to sit him down and I ended on the floor. I got back up. "Knock it off Eric!" I yelled out. Now i wasn't playing games. "You think i am going to let this Weto talk to me like that?! He doesn't know who he is talking to! I am going to teach him a lesson!" I got back up and tackled my brother. He fell back and i wrapped myself around him like a spider monkey. I started to bit him and knee him where i could. This was how i won my fights. They lasted until one of us was tired or dead.

I pulled her off her brother. "Let me teach him a lesson in manners. Its not very polite to treat a guest with such disrespect." I took of my shirt and shoes, threw my weights to the floor, and got ready to fight. "Come now Eric, don't tell me you're going to puss out on me."

I looked at my father. He gave opened an arm for me to come and stand next to him. I did as I was told and watched. I didn't know what to do but watch. My brother Eric couldn't help but smile at Leon. Leon had the advantage now with my brothers arrogance. My brother made the first move. My mother was slightly crying so I held her while dad held me.

The first thing I learned, never make the first move. The second, never attack, only counterattack. Eric never learned either of those. He was used to overpowering people most likely, but I was stronger, faster, and a much better fighter. I blocked his punch and jabbed him hard in the ribs making him double over, then I kick him hard in the side making him fall to the floor. "Care to try again girlie?" I taunted him.

I heard the clinks of the forks hitting the bowls from my brother. In spanish my father told my brothers to carry Eric to him room. I sat down at the table. my mother got up again, a few tears still but she grabbed Leon's face again kissing his cheek forehead and lips.

I looked over at the girl, I still didn't know her name. "Your mom just kissed me..." I gave her a puzzled look. "For beating up your brother. Is your whole family insane?" I really didn't know what to think of this.

I smiled at him. "She respects you. Eric, he's a gang member. You protected me without fear. Culturally she is showing you honor and respect. No one stands up to my brother like that exept my father" I looked over at him and he smiled at him. "Mija, you two finish up your dinner. I am going to go see if Puss.y Eric is okay." I smild. my mother grabbed leon's hand and sat him next to me. She grabbed my hand and placed it in each others. i moved my hand fast. "Aye Amy!" She cried out as she sat down. I argued with her a bit in spanish about how Leon wasn't my boyfriend bt she didn't hear it.

"You know, if you really want I can probably get Dr. Phil down here," I grinned at the girl. Mija. Was that her name?

I laughed. "No. Its okay. Dr. Phil can't help what we were raised to think since the time of the mayans. " I giggled. my mother got up and kissed my forehead. I ate my food. it was still warm. Sweet. My mother then walked over to him. "be good for Amy." she said. I blushed. "AMA!" I yelled. SHe laughed at me and walked out. her bowl was finished.

I finished my food. "At least your mother has good taste in guys," I winked.

I raised a brow. "You better be talking about my father." I glared a bit. I took Eric's bowl and gave it to leon for seconds. I took another one of my brothers bowls and ate it. "You know, he's going to get the car tomorrow anyway..." i stated not looking at him. "Trust me, once your gone Eric and I are going to get into it again. He'll be pulling the 'amy you're a girl and have to right to a car' crap." I explained. "He'll take the keys from me.

"Then I guess I'll have to be here early in the morning to break his fingers if he tries." I smiled.

I looked at him. He had a good smile. I looked away. In truth, I was starting to like him, but he didn't like me. I finished my second bowl. Finally I spoke. "Don't." I said. "Don't come here in the morning. Its really bad. You will get shot." i said. "Please, don't risk that..." I said. I was looking him dead in the eyes.

"I'll drive the Mercedes Guardian. Its bullet and missile proof. And if anyone scratches it I'll just have to kill them," I laughed.

i looked at him. i didn't say a work. I just stared. I looked away realizing what i was doing. I felt myself get warm from blushing. I picked up his bowl and walked over to the sink. I grabbed the rest of the bowls. I put the left over food back with the rest of the food and then started to clean the many dishes.

"You're blushing," I pointed out.

I let my hair fall in my face as i washed the dishes. I couldn't look at him. I just looked at the water.

"You could always show me you're bed," I grinned.

I blushed even more and came up with something to tell myself that wasn't what he met. "We have a tv, but we don't have cable." I said. I took him over to the living room / my room and gave him the remote. I grabbed my backpack. I had no homework, but i needed to pretend to do something...

"Okay. Now lay down and drop your pants." I didn't actually expect her to di it. I jus wanted to see her reaction.

I almost tripped as got up and heard him say that. I looked at him. "You're kidding me right?" I sat back down and took a breath to get myself back together. "Besides, if you touch trash you'll get dirty." There was a bit of hate in my tone.

"What's wrong with being dirty?" I winked at her.

I looked at him. "Look, i realize you must have all the girls at school all over you and dropping their pants for you, but i am not a puta. I would rather be with someone that loves me." I was being serious now.
