i think so. i guess it's a power you may get when ya an evil creature. for example the red fleds are able to do some brainwash, too and Kalona is definitely able, cause nobody cared when Sgiach was killed etc.

It's hard to say though, whom of the two did the brainwashing. I'm placing my bets on Neferet.

Also, I think Neferet would have killed Shekinah anyway. She was far too powerful to be let alive. Also, Neferet wants to take her place now, maybe she already planned that back then.

Gah, I really hope Zoey stops that ridiculous thing before the Council goes and makes her the High Priestess of all Vamps...but then, Thanatos and the leader (forgot her name) are already suspicious of her, so maybe they won't anymore.

I think that maybe Neferet put a spell. I could of sworn that was explained in Burned may it was...

Duantia is the name of the Senior Council member. Maybe it was the combination of the both of them. Nobody would believe Neferet was evil before, but everybody hated Zoey and thought "OMG! What a skank, she's always getting all the hot guys" before nobody cared.

oh i don't think it's enough that two (and may they be important members members of the council) of the council are on Zoey's side. I guess the decisions are decided from the whole council and not just from the ones with the greatest powers... And that would be the problem, cause the other members seemed to be blinded by Kalonas or Neferets spell.

Alright. I'll admit I have an unhealthy obcession with this couple
I don't know how the Casts managed to make me care about a mutated bird guy, but here I am. I reaaalllly hope he turns human! The Awakened cover shows him in human form, but with the Casts you never know. I'm going to hate it if they make him, like, totally human. like without powers and stuff. It just doesn't seem to fit his character.
