Really meeting in a happening one short part and then nearly a quarter of the book. But the book is in general damn short, so it's not much

whhhhaaatttt? I've waited so long for only a short book? WITHOUT a lot of Stevie Rae and Rephaim moments?
......I'm a bit disappointed. I thought maybe since he was on the cover he'd play a big role, but I guess not.

I was sad and frustrated about that too, but don't be disapointed before ya finished the book.

alrighty. I'm already a few chapters in so we'll see! Let's just say that I wanted to strangle Kalona already... -_-

Stevie Rae and Rephaim were the major factor in my anticipation for the new installment. I could hardly contain my excitement. Hell, the instant I got my copy I flipped right to back of the book to find out what happened between them. Let's just say, I wasn't disappointed even though I felt we didn't get nearly enough Rephaim and SR moments. I mean, the guy is on the cover and is even the central focus on the poster! But I'm overall pleased with where SR and Rephaim's relationship has progressed.

^exactly i love Rephaim and Stevie Rae's forbidden romance, they are my favorite couple, i hope they come out of all the drama still together.

Not just because they were forbidden, which made it cooler, but also because they actually had to bond with their relationship and work for it. With Zoey it was always just kind of there for the guys she liked.Ya know?

Stevie Rae and Rephaim are my favorite couple as well (okay, Aphrodite and Darius, and Damien and Jack get close, but now close enough, bwahahaha). It was so lovely in Burned how Rephaim protected Stevie Rae. 'Sides, they're such an unlikely couple that it makes their love even better. I mean, who expected them to fall in love with each other in the first place? I didn't, but I was really, really happy when they did. I love them!

You guys know in Awakened, when Stevie Rae sends earth to call Rephaim to her and there was a mixture of red in it, was that because of her imprint with Rephaim or something else? Someone said it was an implication that Stevie Rae is able to use and summon old magic, which makes sense because she was able to summon the bulls, or is it because since she is connected to Rephaim she can use that red stuff he uses to call her as well?
