Dark hearts

I got out. I waited for him to get out.
I pulled her to me. "It's alright."

I took his hand. Where I set my hand felt warm.
"It will be."

I smiled at her and walked into the school.

I looked at him and asked "How do you know?"

"So what do you want to do first?" I looked at him.
"Trust a vampire to know things. You've probably heard mal say that a lot, so, just trust me." I smiled.

"Mal hasn't considered herself a vamp yet. We haven't really had time to talk."

"lets dance."

"Alright." We walked out to the floor amd I noticed people stared at us in awe, wonder, and believe and disbelieve. We started dancing.
"I know, you've both been with your new boyfriends."

I looked at him "Your my boyfriend?"

I laughed and jumped around

I laughed with him.
"Well, I made an assumption, since we kissed. Puls, you invited me to a dance which in my time is a date."

I smiled "I just liked hearing you say it."

"What?" I asked her.

"Nothing, I really like being your girlfriend and not just your friend." I said.
"Good, you're going to hear it a lot."

I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

I smiled at her and pulled her into my arms when the tempo changed.

I kissed her head.
I moved to the tempo like I knew the dance.

I smiled and kissed her forehead.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

"I think this is what we were meant for." I said.
"You know, before I met you, I probably never would've dated a human."

"Dancing?"

"Why/"

"No, dating." I laughed.
"My mom taught me that we're superior so I was kind've stuck up."

I smiled "Good because My dancing is horrible."

"And I miraculously changed that?"

"I think it's fine."
"Yeah, you twisted my thinking. Weird how one human could do that."

I smiled Unconvinced

"Trust me. I would've never kissed a human before you."

"Why me?"

I looked at her "Seriously"

"Okay, I think, that you can be a really great dancer."
"No clue, but it's something different about you."
