^ Because it wouldn't have had the same impact. Besides, most of the students at the House of Night fell for Kalona's hypnotising spell and many defended him so guess in a way they were all corrupt. But Jack was a pure soul, totally incorruptable so he was the perfect fit.

I cried my heart out. Jack was, and he still is, one of my favorite characters (and I keep discovering that the characters I like tend to die. Same happened in Harry Potter). I really felt terrible for Damien. They had just found each other, they should've had a relationship to last for decades, maybe even for centuries. But I have to say that it felt good to know that Jack ended up close to Nyx where his spirit is safe. And I know in my heart Jack and Damien will find each other again. If Jack doesn't want to be reborn, then until Damien dies and goes to Underworld. Pure love never dies♥

I really hope Jack is happy. At least he made a lot of readers happy and he will be remembered. We love you, Jack!

I will miss Jack and Damian's softness in the series they really brought cuteness and love to the story and i feel terrible Damian he will need a lot of support going thru the next books and i'm sure Jack will be helping with a gentle hand from Nyx's relm.

it was so cute, and i hope that Nyx will guide Damien through this terrible tragedy.

i felt really bad when he was killed! but i was also proud of him for now following Neferet and wasn't tinted by darkness!
Damien is so sweet he loved him a lot so i think he will do anything he can to stop neferet and might even become stronger

Jack was the strongest character in the book. He did not tremble or fall to darkness, nor to death. I can only hope that I could be so strong. Perhaps we should write about our favorite parts ablout him.

my favorite part about him is when he died even if it was sad he proved his loyalty and purity

My favorite part... well, actually every part when he was there. Can't name one part specifically. He was just great every time he appeared, always so cheerful and smiling (and gay, hee hees). Jack was the best character in whole HoN.

I cried for him... He was one of my favourites characters... And he was like my best friend should be ;(
