Oh god, I hurt her. I hate, no I loath myself! I think I might have groaned. I'm not quite sure.
"Kari, I came here to apologize for earlier. I acted like a total idiot. I am sorry." I said in one big rush.
I felt if I didn't get it out right away, I wouldn't be able to just say it.

She was even more beautiful when she smiled, if that was possible.
"I've know Lissa for quite awhile now. When I saw you, I knew you weren't her. I do see a resemblance, but I could never mistake you for her. There's something so different about you."
I wanted so badly to reach out and touch her hair. It looked a soft as freshly spun silk.
"Kari, have you heard of me?"

I didn't know if she meant that in a good or bad way. I did have quite the reputation for being a bad boy and a flirt, but I didn't want her to know that.
"Oh really? And what do all the girls say about me?" I asked casually.

Her laugh was magical. I couldn't help but laugh along with her even though that meant I was laughing at myself.
"I don't know about the hot part." I lied, I knew I was hot. "But I guess I am a flirt." I should be honest about the part at least.

I pulled the chair from her desk up to her bed so I could sit across from her. I needed to be sitting if I was going to tell her how I felt.

I took a long, shaky breath and exhaled through my nose. I must look absolutely insane.
"I first saw you a week ago. You were, you are so beautiful. I don't know what has happened to me, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about you since then. I am drawn to you Kari." I explain carefully.
