I'm probably gonna catch some hate for this, but I think the idea of Stevie Rae being with Rephaim is DISGUSTING. He's not even fully human, he has bird parts (like a beak and feathers), and the two of them hooking up would be bestiality, pure and simple. Werewolves are one thing ... in most books, they turn into a full human, so I could see hooking up with one of those. But a half-bird thing??? GROSS.

Oh most definitely i would love Stevie Rae and Rephaim to get together and change him into the boy they say in the reflection.

If he changes into a full human ... sure, I think that would be awesome. If not ... STILL GROSS.

i don't find it disgusting, 'cause i don't think that they would have a "something" together, until he's a human (hope he will in the next book), and... don't know, he is so human and he doesn't behave like a beast (except the scene with dallas) and... i don't know, i like him and Stevie rae together. i never really thought about that it's weird, 'cause they just belong together. and he will turn into that human, as you said it's a cliche, but i just like the idea

We agree there; if he turns into a human, I'd love to see them together. As long as he has the feathers and beak ... that's flat-out bestiality, and I would have to stop reading the books if that happened. I'm very open-minded and 'sexually liberal', but having sex with animals, even half-animals? Yuck.

hm i think it would be ok if they cuddle a bit, maybe a kiss on the forehead, but i agree, sex would be a thing which i... found strange. but i really don't think they would do it until he's a human. that would be a bit too brave from the authors in a book, which would be read from teens... they would probably get stress from parents or whatever ;D

I agree that would be wierd, but I do think they would be good together if he lost the bird stuff.

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but yeah, I felt bad for Dallas too, until he basically said as long as Stevie Rae was 'his girl' (basically, did whatever he said), then he'd keep her secret. That's when my sympathy for him evaporated.

Dallas can go kiss my butt! That man had no right to say that stuff about Stevie Rae. She was faithful to him and a good girlfriend. When he turned to Darkness I was so shocked! Now I'm just plain mad at him.

Damn straight Sweet Blood, though I too felt kind of sorry for him up until that point.

after i read burned again, i cannot feel sorry anymore for him. he's a damn fool, he doesn't have to change sides because his girlfriend "betraid" him (although she didn't do that), that's just no reason! i mean he could have just brake up with her and search another girl, but he gets a super-evil dark spooky vamp. i mean, if every guy would act like that when his girl have another guy/bird ( ), there would be a thousand of evil vamps in their world^^

I agree with you Dandelion, stevie-rea didn't betray him, but he was stupid and now he's going to try and isolate stevie-rea from everyone else. Although it leaves me wondering weather they'll talk it out in Awakened because rephaim's gone off to find Kalona.

i believe that Dallas is not just stupid. i guess he hadn't made his final decision for light, cause i stay at the point that a betraying girlfriend is no reason to change sides.

i think there would be no problem to take out, 'cause in the summary of awakened on the official HON-homepage, it's said that SR is drawn even closer to Rephaim, which means he has to be around her to give her the possibility to draw closer

it says their drawn closer because their Imprint. It could be the mental side of their Imprint or the whole "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" thing

but i agree, they wouldn't be (physically) togehter in the first chapters of the book. but i hope later in the book
