i mean he really feels loyal for his father, no matter what he does. and he distrust Nef, Reph said it more than once. and that he ran back to his father when he felt his return, shows me that he still depence on his father.

I guess, but we don't really know Rephaim's motives for returning nor do we know what Kalona and Rephaim's relationship is like.

Maybe he just feels that his father is redeemable. I mean, if he was all Rephaim knew, then he must think that Kalona isn't that bad and the only reason he's so bad now is because of Neferet. I think Rephaim thinks that once Neferet is out of the picture Kalona would return to normal. At least, the normal that Rephaim knows.

yes, i don't think he had another choice. maybe his brothers. but they're all influenced by his father, too. i wonder if in the next book would be scenes in which we learn something about the other Raven Mockers. i would like to know how different they're in comparison with Rephaim and why they are not as human as him.

I would like to know more about the relationship dynamics between the Raven Mockers, Rephaim and Kalona. The Casts seemed to have rushed one of the most crucial plot developing books (Hunted) so we really don't know what's the deal.

yes, ya right. i really hope there will be an insight in awakened and to be honest, i expect it, cause Rephaim will join his father in the beginning and there will be shurely some povs from Reph, so maybe we would see something about the relationship dynamics...

I don't think so either. I mean, you can tell that he's conflicted because he knows he wants to protect her and be with her to keep her safe, but she's against his father and everything he stands for. I think he'll have to soon pick if he wants to help his father who just uses him or to be with SR because she genuinely cares about his well-being.

i have to agree with Bella, cause it's more or less said in Burned, the scene when he flied away. He wants love, but whenever he tried to speak about feelings or try to find out what are the feelings SR is feeling he's not able to put it in words....

but he would be torned, there's no question about that.

Can you imagine that? Going centuries thinking you're not allowed to be loved? That's messed up. Everything about Stevie Rae is forbidden. She's everything he's never known or experienced. And like Lilith said, i think it's seriously going to come down to how Kalona and/or Stevie Rae treat him and the differences between them.

it's horrible when i read it i was nearly crying cause I felt so sorry for him. I mean imagine a world where you're not loved, no lovin' mama, father, friends... this is really a horror-scenario for me. I mean i cannot imagine it, cause I have a boyfriend for already 5 years and my mum loves me and i have some great friends... really i cannot imagine it...
and how must one feel who thinks he's not worthy for love or allowed?

I wasn't really that sad for him, but it really touched me reading it. "Since Stevie Rae had touched his life, he'd begun to think of love." That sentence is so sweet. ^^
