what the hell was wrong with dallas???

i agree. he pretty much was. he didn't really have the same sense of morals as stevie rae and i think it's because Darkness was still fighting it's way into him.

I think Dallas had negativity stored up inside him, and when he found out about Stevie Rae and Rephaim, The negativity just borught itself forward, and he blew it all out, and he lost his humanity.

all the red fledglings are closer to Darkness. they had to choose Light in order to overcome the maddness that we saw in the beginning with stevie rae when she was all gross and stuff. i think the anger of seeing rephaim allowed enough Darkness in to influence him and then embrace him.
i don't know how stevie rae is going to explain it. getting everyone to accept it is going to be hard. especially dragon.
he uses the Darkness from his father's blood but since he still has his humanity he hasn't fully embraced it.

I'm saying that everyone thinks that yea they're closer to darkness but they chose light and thats that, but maybe its not really all that simple for them, maybe it's a day to day decision and they always have that temptation to give in. Maybe not even Stevie Rae knows how difficult it is for all the feldglings because she became a vampire due to her decision to choose light. I dont know its totally possible that I'm over thinking this and maybe thats because i really liked dallas, I hope there's some way to un-darkness-ify him

good point made. but for SR. she also has the earth.

Earth is what helped her mostly. That and Zoey never gave up on her. But I agree that I don't think dallas is coming back from this. I feel like he's too far gone. I think that since he was struggling with it to begin with And any small thing would have easily sent him over the edge. I think the fact that he had feelings for Stevie Rae was just too much.

dallas was so suptid. if he really liked her he would give her a chance to explain.even though i dont approve of it.

yea even thou i never liked him i felt bad for him when he walked in on them two. and i think that in awakened he is going to end up letting her explain because inside he is just a big ol softy

I'm in "Team Rephaim", but i liked Dallas before he become a giant fool. i don't think there's a way for him to change the side again, 'cause he changed by letting darkness getting him. i think, that's such a great cutting in his final step of envelopment, that this puts part in his mind/heart, too

My problem was how Dallas came to the insane conclusion that Stevie Rae had been screwing around on him with a Raven Mocker. It wouldn't be possible, seeing as the majority of time Stevie Rae was either underground recovering from her arrow wound or at the House of Night. Rephaim wasn't anywhere near those places when Stevie Rae was there.

Maybe it was because they were in the same place at the same time? Guys can be pretty dense.

Yeah, i think so. I mean Rephaim just shows up and goes "get away from my Woman!" and Dallas never came to the conclusion that Rephaim was just talking a bunch of crap, that Rephaim was just sowing discord the same way Loren did between Zoey and her friends.

It kinda looked like to me Dallas was looking for any excuse for them to break up.

Probably, same with him always slipping about being good. I think deep down he knew he couldn't be as good as SR wanted him to be. He just wanted to eat homeless people way too much.
