Lines of different meaning,
includes every little feeling.
The unique touch each holds,
as beauty from within unfolds.

The melody that hums
with the beats of the base drums.
Just let the music run,
and have all of the sorrow shun.

Soft and sad some are sung,
bright like daylight others has rung.
Often it seems so real,
it's 'cause that's how you really feel.

Please Don't Stop The Music

Plain words strung into lines,
with meanings not well defined,
yet provoke emotions so fine.

A unique touch to every melody,
sensed and percieved differently,
as beauty from within unfolds gently.

Tunes nailing themselves in,
souls in the crowd drownin',
as it hums to the base drums beatin'.

Though it sounds equally as low,
but having an idol share the woes,
does lift the mood on the whole.

And even if you hate to know,
but all these feelings which flow,
your inner self is slowly shown.

Okay, I could never get my poems rhyme like that (which is why I don't even try to get them rhyme). "Songs"... wow, I'm speechless. So great!

Thank you for the praise. Btw, i've forgotten to add that Please Don't Stop the Music is a revised veraion of songs that i've done some time last week.

I used to rhyme all my poem, but not anymore now. I only rhyme those which are revisions of my old writes.

Anyway, i'm sure you can rhyme pretty well too if you were to try it out.

We came to know
The world we're in.
With each passing day,
Something new comes.
Maybe i'm still dreaming,
But i will wake again,
To a better tomorrow.
Don't wait for me
to come around,
For i'll catxh up real soon.
But even if i stay sound asleep,
This is always still good enough,
Because in this discord of emotions,
I have you, your shadow, your voice,
And every part of you by me,
And all mine own.

A thought, a word,
sets me spinning in my world.
A stare, a smile,
all I need to skip down the aisle.
A crush, a liking,

The encouragement of joy,

Lovely, both of them♥ You really know what you're doing when you write poems.

thanks. It took me quite some time (with breaks in between) to get this collection together. Had a period of time in which I couldn't think of anything to write.

By the way, all the poems are based on the title. This was the first collection of poems i've ever written and also the first that wrote all the poems in the collection using the titles.

Wow it took me almost 8 months to get it all done! Quite unbelievable even to myself.

Flush of Chrome Orange

Hand of destruction,
heart of warmth.
Form of freedom,
embodiment of chains.
Leader of power,
Master of weakness.

The aurora of smiles,
the comfort of light.
A glow of happiness,
A sensation of fervor.

Stretch your hand,
and reach for the stars.
Feel heat inundate you,
and spirit away from here.

Torment. Torture. Torrential.
That's enough to
sum up all of my life
thus far.

Cold. Chilling. Corrosive.
I dare not extend
my hands to accept,

Intimated. Inhibition. Introverted.
I will rather stay
at this corner,

It makes me relieved
that at the very least,
I wasn't a burden,

No issue. I guess it's just times of depression. It hits me sometimes, and I guess it's part of the reason why I'm still writing.

I won't succumb to all these external threats. I'll pick myself up, overcome them, and walk towards the greater, better future. (:

Neon Ball

Stripped or whole colours,
air fills up this round body,
it'll always bounce back up.

Just Kids
-Dreamer

Fly in the sky, I want to feel the freedom.
Be with the fishes, I wish I can visit the oceans.
Be above the world, I want to be admired.
For the future, I wish I can be richer.

Demanding all that we want
yet not seeing what we're
and where we're standing.

Trying hard to rebel our parents,
thinkin we're all grown up,
yet we're but little kids
still living in our cozy cots,
not knowing all the hard truths
of the the world outside.

Sitting before our study tables,
grumbling about all the school work,
finding ways to hate our teachers,
yet still dreaming of the far future...

It's simple to get
a set goal of who we want
to be when we grow up,
ain't it all just the idols
and our passions at the moment?

It's easy to find a reason
and a purpose to strive,
ain't it all just the dreams
that we want to achieve?
But we don't know the truth.

Unable to take falls from friendships,
always caught up in our little
worlds of self-pity, thinking we're
the only one in grief and pain.

Still sitting before our study tables,
books and notes all open and spread around.
We wonder why we have to mug
so hard for a piece of certificate.
Yet we still have such wide and distant dreams...

It's simple to get
a set goal of who we want
to be when we grow up,
ain't it all just the idols
and our passions at the moment?

It's easy to find a reason
and a purpose to strive,
ain't it all just the dreams
that we want to achieve?
But we are just naive.

It's tedious work to go through life,
yet we just face it head on.
Overcoming all the obstacles,
and picking ourselves from falls,
because we keep on believing.

But all these blind desires
and all the fantasy we yearn,
are but distant shores that
our abilities can never reach,
yet we still hold on to that one belief.
We're naive, are we not?

Are we not?
