My Lousy Scribbles

Ai Kia Si

Unless you're looking
for a faster way to die,
please look carefully
at the neon signs
that are everywhere,
for death in such a way
isn't at all a glory sight.

You're never too young
to die, so don't expect
your soul to be able
to take this risk
hence take a close look
at the brightly lit words,
and follow them till
the end of this road,
for you can never know,
when death calls you home.

Lets' all end our lives
peacefully, with our
limbs all intact.
Lets' not wonder about
our existence and
just live the life
we are all given,
for there's a purpose,
whether we know it or not.

Aww that one is my fave.

well... that depicts the scene of my childhood... when i was going through the worst storms of life (so far).

A/N: These two are on the same issue. I went to a teacher for consultation, not yet though. just went to the teacher to book a consultation slot... but the teacher refused to give me one, claiming that i was very last minute, so she simply just ignored my messages, and also didn't even bother asking me why i didn't go to ask for consultation slots earlier.
Here goes~

Teacher No More

Three years
of being under you,
and I'd always been in this belief,
that you're the best teacher ever,
because you gave us breaks
and showed us where w were weak,
bringing us through every nit-grit detail
of every single skill and notes,
marking, bolding, highlighting,
everything that will help us
in future tests and examinations,
hoping that we will emerge the top...

Yet it's only today that
you're true colour is revealed.
[ or is it just my dellusion?]
You're cold and mean to
those who'd missed the first train
but still held on to their faith.
You don't give second chances
to those who wake slightly later,
you only accept those who
grabbed the first opportunity,
and pushed them to excellence,
leaving the rest to drown in
the sea of vexing sweat and tears.

You may not owe us anything,
but you've definitely owed your job
more than the world.
For you've failed your duty
as a guiding light of hope.
But more importantly,
you've defeated the purpose
of yourself being
a teacher.

Beloved Mentor

I've noticed it's a little late,
and time is beginning to run out.
I know there's only me to blame,
for coming not earlier but now...

But at least I am willing
to start working now.
But at least I've awaken
and ready to go on full drive...

Afterall there's a saying that goes,
'it's better late than never',
and you know very well that
it's part and parcel of your work...

So what was the reason for you
to ignore my messages?
So why did you throw me
'It is very last minute'?

I don't want to hate you,
but I wish you'd only
hear what I have
to say to you.

'The timing is late,
but the work is
definitely on time,
if not, in time.'

All I wish for now,
is that you'd accept
my request for a session,
when next term begins...

Unless of course,
starting on the first week
of the term is to you,
also considered last minute.

If you did mean it as a question, no not all of them are happy. Mostly goth, depression, anger, angst or confusion.

Unworthy

Inane magnitudes recorded,
insane crack on earth's crust...
Quaked a magnitude of 9,
doubled by 6m of waves
which rolled dark murky waters in.

hudreds of thousands of ships,
planes and vehicles,
swept away from the land...

Like little toys they bob,
in the massive torrent...
Then disappear beneath bridges,
or are stuck behind buildings.

Nuclear station bursting into flames,
radiation spreading in the atmosphere...
In another hudred years or more to come,
problems and effects of this aftermath,
will surface as humans begin
to develop signs of deficiancy.

Citizens of our planet earth,
never missing any timings for news,
many are despairing for the lives lost,
others worring for the damage done.

Professors and news reporters,
discussions about predicted quakes,
and foreseen monstrous breaks,
apparently more is coming our way...


Countries sending in their helplines,
in-flow of water and external members...
Men fight and quarrel over petite things,
yet we get together to help them,
even when they are old enemies of distant shores.

Let us pray, let us sit together
and put our minds and hearts
as one to pray,
clasp our hands together and
plea God have mercy on mankind,
to let this be the last....

Many are trying to help,
most are honestly concerned...

Yet there're still some who believe,
it is the retribution they owed the world...

Are they still worth the title 'Human'?

Unneeded Presence

The earthquake and tsunami,
do you think it was really,
the retribution they deserve?

If deep down you do,
I really wonder why,
God hasn't taken you home!

Sometime in the dim history,
I'm sure some of those whom
we share perpetual lineage has sinned.

If Japan's decedents owed this,
then our turns aren't far away too,
just round the corner, I'd say.

So if deep down you think they deserve this,
do you think anyone live to tell this disaster,
to any coming generations?

A/N: Anyway, to have even thought about that, you've just sinned. I wish you good luck. and I hope God can be that least bit fair to the Japans. I'm sure the Japanese inhabiting that country today doesn't deserve such turmoil.

Thank you. About that... I think it has been about 2 years now. Has been quite some time and I've seen my styles and thinking changing too. I've got a lot of new updates, but it has been so dead here, I sort of gave up posting altogether.

By the calmness
of the waters,
it stands still.
No moves, no sound
nothing at all.

Yet, for what it is
it still is admired.

Then and again,
the day is gone.
The crescent smile
hangs high above
like the queen
amongst the starlit sky.

Against the dim
twilight of the stars,
it lights up and turns.
For whom, for what?
For the world to see.
The beauty it holds,
deep beneath.

Whether day or night,
it never fails to
please your sight.
In it's hands,
the trump card is.

Beauty of
its dancing lights,
the fireworks has
to stand aside.

The exquisite sight calms,
as the night goes by.
